Job Title: Tool & Die Maker - 1st Shift
Reports To: VP Production
Department: Tool Room/Production
Pay Range: Dependent on experience
General Function: Build, repair and maintain dies, diagnose issues, correct and improve tooling and fixtures to support production.
Job Duties:
Physical Component(s): Standing and walking up to 100% of work time. Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs to include pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping.
Education/Experience: minimum 5 years proven experience working as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment. Journeyman’s Tool and Die Maker’s card or certification a plus.
Other Requirements:
Excellent attendance.
Team player with solid communication skills.
Must have own tools.

Job Duties:
- Build and repair precision tooling, jigs and fixtures using machine shop tools and measuring instruments.
- Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies and jigs.
- Set up and operate all tool room equipment.
- Work hands on with lathes, mills, surface grinders and all tool room equipment.
- Heat treat different metals and test hardness.
- Assist production with problem solving on tooling issues.
- Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E
- ProtoTRAK mill experience a plus.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
